How about another favorite of mine (usually, but not always uttered by the younger set): "Anyways, it was SO fun!"

More Grammatical Agony

I used to cringe at the current usage of "hopefully," finding it difficult to accept "Hopefully she will come soon," rather than, "He looked at her hopefully," but now I find it creeps into my own sentences.

Am I bowing to currency, or just getting lazy? I fear it is the latter.
